01-lp New Beginnings Nursery School was established in 1996 by director Patricia Kreamer and the Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns. Unhappy with the options in Westchester, NY, Kreamer decided to look for a school to suit the learning and development growth of her child.The church was interested in starting a school, so it was a match made in heaven! Our school was established by parents and made for children.

Despite our religious affiliation, we would like parents to know that we are accepting of children and families of all religious backgrounds – or even no religion. We believe that every child deserves an accepting, nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. Parents are not required to participate, but we welcome you to join in on the fun and learning if you are so inclined. Our nursery school is available for children ages two to four years old in preparation for Kindergarten. We offer a comprehensive curriculum led by our staff of exceptional teachers and assistants.

Our Comprehensive Curriculum

New Beginnings Nursery school is a place of learning for every child, no matter his or her background. Our classes are divided according to age so that the children continue to develop with other children their age. Each grade builds on and acts as a stepping stone to the next. We work with your children on developing motor skills, creativity, academics, and socialization to make them better prepared for entering school.

Our daily schedule includes a variety of activities aimed towards learning and participation so that your child has fun as he or she learns. Our schedule includes the following:
